Tranxition is pleased to announce Migrate7 version 8.6 for Windows 8.1. First customer ship is planned for December 2nd, 2013. This version includes support for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 in both 32-bit and 64 bit-versions.
Migration Paths
The following new migration paths are supported:
XP to Windows 8.1 (32/64)
Vista to Windows 8.1 (32/64)
Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 (32/64)
Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 (32/64)
All current migration paths in version 8.5 (XP, Vista, Win7, Win8) continue to be supported.
New Windows Settings Support for most Windows Versions
In addition to our existing application settings migrations included in Migrate7 8.5, Tranxition announces support for the following new and updated objects in Windows:
- iTunes 11 (including iPhone and iPad backups and application libraries)
- Windows Explorer Libraries
