PC Migration for business computers will be better than ever with Tranxition Migration Manager 10.4 We are now able to offer some advanced notice of Migration Manager 10.4 features. The new product will have more profile selectivity, high-powered in-place migration capability, significant performance gains on complex file systems, new and improved support for Google Chrome and a lot more. There was a lot of work on background technology to enable other new improvements shortly. We are excited to bring this new software to our customers.
We have also seen a strong uptick in adoption of our user-centric Migration Capability, called MigrationStick, which enables technicians or users to migrate devices without requiring admin privileges. A user simply launches the software and follows simple commands. A while back, our first major customer for MigrationStick performed hundreds of migrations with no support calls back to us and almost no setup time. The “stick” software is configurable and works out of the box. Some customers use it with USB or external drives. Others over the network.
Our customers told us that they wanted to address the COVID-19 issues by empowering users to perform their own PC migration for business computers. Due to complexities in Windows, this is easier said than done. Our technical experts put their heads together and came up with a much simpler model for making this happen. The customer acceptance has been fantastic.
